I don't really have a totem animal, as such.
The closest I'd come to having a totem critter is the Magpie. In the house I used to live in before my current one there was a magpie that always came to my backyard looking for food. He was rather tame, he'd even eat from my hand. I've moved houses recently but another magpie has found me... this one also comes to my patio looking for food. He hasn't grown brave enough to eat from my hand yet but he will follow me around the yard if I'm mowing or working out there & will waddle around or walk between my feet when it's lunchtime. I keep hearing about magpies being really aggressive etc but I've never had that sort of experience w/ one. <shrugs>
I've always associated Magpies w/ scholars &/or the Goddess Athena, even tho I've never read anything similar or found any thing online to support this.
So what are your Totems, people...!? Any unusual critter experiences...!?
